Kids Aerial Classes (Ages 6–12)
Kids aerial classes start with a warm-up and active stretch. Students will learn and practice aerial silks, and a combination of the aerial hoop, aerial straps, aerial rope, dance trapeze, and aerial sling. Which apparatuses are used in each class depends on the number of students and what they are most interested in. Aerial classes end with conditioning (strength exercises) and a stretch.
Aerial Arts (Ages 13+)
Aerial Arts is for students who would like to continue to learn skills on multiple aerial apparatuses, such as aerial silks (tissu), aerial hoop (lyra), static or dance trapeze, and corde lisse (aerial rope). Each class will include a warm-up, review of old skills, new skills, and practice of sequencing skills together. Each class will end with a few conditioning and stretching exercises to help develop the strength, flexibility, and body awareness required to excel at aerial arts.
Aerial & Conditioning (Ages 13+)
Straps (Ages 13+)
Aerial straps are two thick straps of materials with loops to hang from. This apparatus is great for those who are—or want to get—circus strong! Straps students will learn tricks and conditioning exercises to build the muscle necessary to master strength-based skills.
