West Coast Flying Trapeze believes circus is for everyone, and we’ve built our school around being a supportive community to students and staff of all age levels and abilities!
Working at the circus means you get to inspire students to blend physical activity with creativity, while building confidence. Many of our staff are also students at the school — ask us about our work-trade programs.
Do you have a passion for circus arts, other people… and organization? We’re looking for a part-time office administrator to help with class registration, payments, and other projects.
Do you love nothing more than seeing someone accomplish something they never thought possible? Have a passion for learning new skills and sharing them with others? We’re looking for part-time aerial instructors with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one of the following aerial arts:
- Aerial silks (tissu)
- Aerial hoop (lyra)
- Static or dance trapeze
- Aerial straps
Additional knowledge in secondary aerial arts is an asset, but not required; we will provide training. Energy, positivity, and passion are a must.
Flying Trapeze Instructors
Our flying trapeze team loves sharing the thrill of soaring through the air with other people. We encourage and support flyers of any age or skill level to set goals and challenge themselves — whether that’s climbing the ladder, or catching a double tuck.
We are looking for instructors who are interested in working the board (platform), pulling safety lines, and catching.
Flying trapeze instructor training is provided in weekly sessions on Sundays from 3-5pm. If you are interested in joining our Flight Club, please email chris@westcoastflyingtrapeze.
We are also happy to receive applications from trampoline, tumbling, and other acrobatic coaches.
Are you an expert in something we haven’t listed here, and want to share it with West Coast Flying Trapeze’s student base? We’d love to hear from you!
