aerial silks

This is the act with the fabric that’s hanging from the ceiling, not to be mistaken with the hammock. Learn to dance up in the air while developing flexibility and strength.

level 1

While those performers at the circus make silks look easy and you may have a background in gymnastics it's not always as easy as it appears. This level is an introduction to silks and will help build the strength and flexibility needed in higher levels. Students will learn basic positions, locks, drops, and how to climb, everything you need to start your career in the air.

Students should not expect to complete this level in a single session, every student will progress at their own rate. Students will be evaluated by their instructor and advised when would be an appropriate time to move to level 2.

level 2

Everything moves up in this level including the student. They will no longer be confined to the knot and will start learning bigger drops, more complicated wraps, sequencing more skills together, and endurance.

Pre-requisites:

  • silks level 1
  • One pull-up
  • French climb (30ft)
  • Russian climb (30ft)
  • Can invert in the air (bent knees okay)
  • Catcher's lock
  • Hipkeys in the air
  • Long hang for minimum of 15 seconds

aerial hammock

This is not your regular backyard hammock but don’t let that scare you away. Develop your strength and flexibility while learning to dance in the air.

aerial hoop

Build up your strength and develop your flexibility on the aerial hoop. This steel hoop is large enough to sit in and you can spin forever!

tumbling

Tumbling is one of the foundations of circus training and something we recommend for anyone who is interested in a career in circus taking.

All lessons will focus on rolls, handstands, and cartwheels as this is something we can always improve on. Our goal is always to learn handsprings and flips.

trampoline

Foundations are important for us here and while we all want to learn how to flip, we are going to focus a lot on basics before we get there.

This is not your backyard trampoline and we are also excited to offer a 5' and 10' trampwall to bounce off of, just like you've seen at the circus.
